Russborough, which is situated 2 km south of Blessington, Co. Wicklow, is the most beautiful house in Ireland, and ideal for many forms of film and TV use both
within the house and around the grounds, which includes a small lake.
With magnificent backdrop views of the Wicklow mountains, and a small forest at the rear, we can provide you with dozens of positions and locations for your media.
This NEW location provides a different site to create your reel, and help you create the atmosphere you most want.
We already have a number of users, one of the most exciting and prominent was RTE's 'You're a Star' which went out on air on the 23rd December, 2007. More recently in 2010 we had 'Knockout'. You can click an image below to view some of the uses and views.
Russborough was used as a film location during the first week in February by Steven Soderbergh's (Ocean's Thirteen, Erin Brockovich) latest feature film KNOCKOUT, which was written specifically for Dublin. The feature film stars an A-list cast including Ewan McGregor (Star Wars, The Men Who Stare At Goats), Irish star Michael Fassbender (Hunger, Inglorious Basterds) and the debut of martial arts expert Gina Carano. Hollywood heavyweights Dennis Quaid and Michael Douglas are also in talks to star in the film.
