We open for the 2009 season, providing an exceptional opportunity to visit the house, view the 'returned paintings', and walk around the grounds and enjoy the many events that occur during this time.

Guided Tours are provided hourly, every day throughout May, June, July, August and September. Our Maze is also open. There is also a shop and the Garden Cafe.

Irrespective of whether in Europe, Asia, Africa or South America, the public and critics are enthused by Margarete Babinsky's charismatic radiance and her naturalness. The Viennese pianist has made music with such orchestras the Vienna Symphony, the Budapest Symphony, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of the Vienna Volksoper, the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre d'Auvergne, the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic, the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic and the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. Her most distinguished partners at the conductor's rostrum to date have been Lord Yehudi Menuhin and Vladimir Fedosejev........ Now Margarete is to play at Russborough in the Saloon.

Eclectic Mezzo Liz Ryan began her singing life on the Paris metro at the age of 17 and has gone from strength to strength entertaining audiences from the West Indies to the South of France. She is absolutely unique in her witticism and delivery of music with a warm rapport and a beautiful voice. Join Liz and piano accompanist Deborah Kelleher in her comic embrace of what is Liz’s 41st year on the planet, and featuring some subtle but brilliant music comic sketches that have thrilled audiences throughout Ireland and abroad.
