Sephira tonight (Saturday 14th September, 2007) entertained over
100 guests in the Saloon Room at Russborough House, to their Traditional Irish and Classical music. As Joan Griffith, who introduced the musicians said. " Every once in a while comes an act that define their own musical genre". Joyce, Colm and Ruth, who were joined by Bill, certainly entertained the audience with their irresistible melodies, powerful emotive performance and heart rendering vocals which blend together to create a stunningly original sound, and received a fantastic reception.
The audience received a wine reception in the great Hall, during the interval, with wines supplied by Sublime Wines. Following this they returned for the second part of the performance, which was all done in candle light.

The First Guests to arrive, who were warmly welcomed by Joan Griffith, were Emer Maherdowling (Wicklow Town) and Sheena Power (Swords), and were unique in being welcomed through the front doors, which had not received a guest to a large function since the great days of when Sir Alfred Beit and his wife held large receptions at the house.
