10 April 2026
Our young members are invited to join Brendan Molloy from the Walled Garden for a hands-on seed sowing session in the Hippodrome.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn where their food truly begins — in the soil — and to discover the simple magic of planting and growing. Guided by Brendan’s expertise, each child will sow both a fruit and a vegetable seed in their own pots to take home and care for.
Over the coming months, they can nurture their seedlings and watch them flourish in time for summer — a simple but meaningful way to stay connected to the garden and the changing seasons. It’s an introduction to growing that’s practical, engaging and guaranteed to leave little hands delightfully dirty.
This is a free event exclusively for members.
