Mary Mary is a born storyteller. A vibrant 85-year old, she is the first Irish puppetry performance developed initially for adult audiences. Now she also enthrals children as young as six with her tales. Known as Mamó na Nollaig (Grandmother Christmas), this is a wonderful opportunity to engage with Mary Mary's inimitable, amusing style and for children to interact and partake in their own way in our long tradition of storytelling.
Award-winning Púca Puppets and co-founder Niamh Lawlor have performed from Ballymun to Bangkok since 1997, also creating workshops for people of all ages. Their Béirín Beag Buí (The Little Yellow Bear) films have been a seasonal feature on RTÉ in recent years and can be found on their player.
