The West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival returns from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 May, bringing a vibrant programme of chamber music, jazz and family events to Russborough and venues across Blessington.
The festival opens at Russborough with a recital by Founder and Artistic Director Fiachra Garvey, featuring works by Beethoven, Chopin and Mussorgsky, alongside the world premiere of Ode to Russborough by Irish composer Greg Felton.
Further concerts at Russborough include performances by the Bechstein Trio and the acclaimed Marmen Quartet, presenting music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Haydn, Debussy and Franck.
Beyond Russborough, the festival continues with the Rising Stars Recital at St Mary’s Church, Blessington, a special jazz performance by China Moses at the Tramway Theatre, and Opera Magic, a family-friendly introduction to opera for children aged five and up.
The festival concludes with a recital by Jennifer Davis, Nicky Spence and Dylan Perez, performing a programme of much-loved songs, arias and duets.
