"We really enjoyed our visit to Russborough House today, it was a fantastic way to pass the morning on a rainy long weekend. Our tour was delivered by Yvonne, who had a lovely way of imparting her knowledge of the house, especially with our children (12&9). She engaged with them in away that made them feel so welcome and their questions as important as those of the adults. She made sure to point things out and draw their attention to things that she thought would pique their interest. The house is absolutely beautiful and there are so many rooms to view in the tour. Well worth the trip."

Excellent guide brought to life the fantastic ceilings, furniture, and ambience now gone. Loved its authenticity and the amount of original artifacts. Cafe was also high quality - a really solid destination if looking for a one day trip to a Dublin or enjoying a couples tour of Wicklow."

"Had a great visit to Russborough. House tour was impressive and lasted a full hour. Went from there to the cafe, tasty food and quick service with plenty of seating inside and outside. Next was the Birds of Prey Centre, the guided tour was well worth it - very informative and you get to hold an owl at the end of the tour. Woodland Trail was a great hike. We never did find our way to the center of the maze!"

"We stayed in Tulfarris Hotel and asked the receptionist if there was anywhere she would recommend for us to visit, and she suggested Russborough House. We had never heard of it. Tara did our tour, and we were blown away by her knowledge and the beauty and history of each room in the house. I enjoyed every minute of the tour. Even though we had been to Powerscourt Gardens this week and even though they were beautiful, there is something special about Russborough House. It was a most enjoyable day and worth every penny. We didn't leave enough time to walk around the lake but the scenery was lovely."

"What an absolute gem! This summer I have visited Russborough three times and every time I experience another wonderful aspect of the estate and the fabulous team that work and thrive there. The guided tour is spectacular. I have visited so many grand houses in Ireland and Russborough is by far the best. The quality of the tour and information we received in one short hour was incredible. Make sure to have enough time to enjoy a delicious lunch at the cafe - the food is yummy. The shop and pop up exhibitions on the bottom floor are fantastic. If you need a thoughtful gift for friends or family - there are stunning items available. The Beit family photo and film exhibition is incredible. I can only imagine the archive available at the estate so no doubt more will come as the seasons roll on."

"Great visit which included lunch in the cafe then an excellent tour of the house given by George followed by a self guided walk around the estate - we followed the yellow and red trails. The woodland garden was at its best with the rhododendrons in full bloom. Super day out which I would highly recommend."

"Fabulous house tour with George - every bit of it so interesting. The art is spectacular - a treasure trove of beautiful historic art. George explained the history and art with such insight and humour and answered multiple questions. The stories about each of the three families who lived there since the 1700s is fascinating and their love of Ireland lovely to hear. The stories about how the art has survived despite multiple robberies is remarkable. We arrived after a beautiful drive through the Sallygap and Wicklow mountains. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Truly one of Irelands treasures. Highly highly recommended."

"Really big playground for the kids, we enjoyed a takeaway coffee and hot chocolate from the cafe too. It was gorgeous inside and I must say the staff were lovely. We took a walk around the fairy garden and my little boy loved the magic and detail! The views are really nice and it's just a perfect place to have a chilled day with family."

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable - she knew the history of every piece of art and furniture in the rooms she took us through, and shared many interesting stories about the families who lived in the house. The grounds are beautiful and there is a nice cafe and shop. Definitely worth the drive to Wicklow."
