Once the wine cellar, our Photography Room provides the perfect setting for a warming whiskey tasting hosted by whiskey expert Derek King of Experience Irish Whiskey, the exclusive tasting session invites guests to discover three exceptional local whiskeys from distilleries dotted across County Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland.
This is much more than a traditional whiskey tasting. Guests will journey behind the label to uncover the people, places and stories shaping Ireland’s native spirit. From its fascinating history and distinctive production methods to the influence of grain, wood and time, Derek will bring each whiskey to life through engaging storytelling and expert insight.
Guided step by step, guests will learn how to properly nose, taste and appreciate each whiskey, identifying the aromas, flavours and characteristics that make every expression unique. Whether you are a lifelong whiskey enthusiast or simply curious to learn more, this relaxed and entertaining experience offers the perfect introduction to the remarkable whiskeys being produced right on our doorstep.
