11 April 2026
Join printmaker Susie Fortune for a creative adventure in the beautiful surroundings of Russborough. Designed for parents and children to enjoy together, this relaxed workshop begins outdoors where participants will explore the gardens and parkland, gathering leaves, grasses and other natural textures to use in their artwork.
Back indoors, these found materials become the inspiration for a series of nature-inspired prints. Susie will guide participants through simple printmaking techniques, encouraging experimentation with texture, pattern and mark-making. The focus is on playful discovery and creativity, allowing children to explore ideas freely while learning the basics of printmaking in a supportive and engaging environment.
Each workshop encourages curiosity, creative confidence and connection to nature, with every participant leaving with their own handmade artworks created from the materials gathered during the session.
This workshop forms part of a series of nature printmaking workshops taking place at Russborough between April and September.
Please wear old clothes suitable for art-making and outdoor exploration.
